I am an assistant professor of accounting at the Price College of Business, University of Oklahoma. Beginning in January 2027, I will join the Accounting & Information Systems Department at Villanova University as a visiting assistant professor.

I earned my PhD in Accounting from the University of Iowa, after completing a Master of Accountancy at Iowa and a Bachelor of Business Administration at Korea University. Before entering academia, I worked as an audit associate with KPMG Korea and served as a financial management officer in the Republic of Korea Air Force.

My research examines financial reporting, capital markets and investor information acquisition, and my work has been published in The Accounting Review.
